Rob Diaz
Rob Diaz was the Ticketmaster for NaNoWriMo's programs, moderator for the Young Writers Program, and moderator for the three forums in the Mechanics, Logistics, and Other Technical Stuff section. He really likes coffee. He began hanging out in the Mechanics forums in 2007 and became an official moderator in 2008. The next year he helped design and code the Donation Derby. He became the Ticketmaster in 2011 before joining the staff as YWP moderator in 2012 until December 2023.
When it comes to his writing, Rob is a complete pantser. He tends to write science fiction, fantasy, and comedy.
Unlike most moderators, Rob Diaz does not have any past Municipal Liaison experience. Rob enjoys gardening, vegetarian food, and playing the trumpet. He dislikes traveling. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and children, who also participate in NaNoWriMo.
