Emily Bristow is the ML Captain of Capital Ideas. She lives in Austin, Texas. Previously she has worked with print journalism, TV production and technical writing. She has been doing NaNoWriMo since 2002 and been on staff since 2008. Aside from writing, her interests include making art, high desert gardening and studying Buddhism.
