Brent Searcy was the Tech Librarian at the NaNoWriMo headquarters during the 2002 NaNo season. He looked after laptops that would be loaned out to laptopless Wrimos during November. When he wasn't loaning laptops or writing his own Red Bull-fueled novel, he worked as an environmental engineer. [1]
