Camp Care Package

A Camp Care Package is a message providing encouragement, advice, and mentorship written by a Camp Counselor for Camp NaNoWriMo participants.
NaNoWriMo has partnered with We Need Diverse Books since 2015 to send these virtual care packages to participants. Campers received the care packages via NaNoMail, daily Monday through Friday. The care packages were also posted on the NaNoWriMo blog. Wrimos can also share their thoughts on the care packages on Twitter, using the hashtag #CampCarePackage.
The Camp Care Packages also contain information on happenings within the Camp NaNoWriMo community, including news on when winning starts, Donation Day, and dares to incorporate into one's projects.
During Camp NaNoWriMo 2016, a new feature appeared in the Camp Care Package: Dare of the Day. This section features a dare from the NaNo staff, the Camp Counselor, or a member of the NaNoWriMo community. Wrimos may contribute their own dares on Twitter using the #DareNaNo hashtag.
