The term Wrimo has multiple uses in the National Novel Writing Month community.

Wrimos are a diverse lot, and no two are alike. Traits that characterize many Wrimos include a love of writing, irritability when interrupted while writing, and a deep understanding of the numbers 1667 and 50,000. Beginning in 2007, Wrimos have categorized themselves into types of Wrimos on the NaNoWriMo forums, leading to humor and the realization that many Wrimos do fall under these types.

The term Wrimo may also apply to a participant in any Nano-like challenge.
