USA :: Texas :: Rio Grande Valley is a NaNoWriMo region for the Rio Grande Valley area. As of June 2018, its About Us reads:

The Rio Grande Valley is the area in Deep South Texas next to the Mexico Border. The region stretches along the coast From South Padre Island all the way up to Roma, and various other cities in between. We take pride in our Hispanic Heritage and culture.
