USA :: California :: Pomona Valley is a NaNoWriMo region for the Pomona Valley area. It was created in 2011.

Before becoming an official region, there were Write-Ins for The Pomona Valley area being organized as early as 2007.

In 2010, Pomona Valley was a sub-region for USA :: California :: Los Angeles.

The region's About Us reads (as of January 2019) "Smack dab between Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, and Orange Counties. We might be actually -in- all of these counties, but we are unique from them."

Its mascot is the peacock, after the real peacocks that live in Lincoln Park. Jan Robnett contributed the suggestion of the peacock mascot in 2016.[1]
