The Office of Letters and Light is the former name of the nonprofit behind National Novel Writing Month. It was created in 2006.
The nonprofit was renamed to National Novel Writing Month in 2013.
Despite the name change, the sign outside NaNoWriMo HQ continues to read "The Office of Letters and Light".
