Novel Draft Aftercare

Novel Draft Aftercare is a NaNoWriMo forum devoted to discussing and getting advice about the post-draft part of the noveling adventure. This can include revising, editing, writing query letters, and publishing.

It was founded in 2007 as part of the December and Beyond forums and was added to the main Resources and Writing Support subforum during the 2014 NaNo season, while continuing to live in December and Beyond during the off-season. In 2015, the forum was moved back to December and Beyond, which was renamed I Wrote a Novel, Now What? and opened year-round. It became a top-level forum in September 2019, as Discourse allows forum categories to be forums themselves. Novel Draft Aftercare contains two subforums: Critiques & Feedback and Predators and Editors.

Since the Novel Draft Aftercare forum is open all year long, Wrimos may use this forum to discuss the post-draft process at any time of year. This is especially useful for Wrimos who are editing or rewriting a project in November or during Camp NaNoWriMo.
