NaNo for the New and the Insane
NaNo for the New and the Insane is a NaNoWriMo survival guide written by longtime Wrimo Lazette Gifford. It gives tips on planning a NaNo novel, setting writing goals, editing and preparing for publication, and using the NaNoWriMo forums. Gifford's guide differs from No Plot? No Problem! in that Gifford's guide places its emphasis on planning one's writing and setting personal goals as opposed to Chris Baty's whimsical guide to finding inspiration and surviving the month. NaNo for the New and the Insane also contains an interview with Chris Baty. The book was released in 2006 and is available as a free download on Gifford's website and on Smashwords.
Even though NaNo for the New and the Insane was released in 2006, much of the information is still useful for Wrimos new and old.
