NaNoWriMo Ambassadors
NaNoWriMo Ambassadors are a group of Wrimos who work to promote NaNoWriMo. The program was formed in 2013. According to the Get Involved page on the NaNoWriMo website, "This squad of superstars spread the word about our events and organization all across the internet, act as a first line of response for HQ feedback, and are our go-tos for helping to publicize key information and new initiatives".
While the NaNo Ambassadors' identities aren't public knowledge on the NaNo website, their existence is acknowledged in a couple of ways. The 2013 Brought to You By page mentioned the NaNo Ambassadors. The page about the NaNo nonprofit also mentions a way to get in touch for Wrimos interested in the Ambassador program. As of September 2014, you can now apply to join the NaNoWriMo Ambassadors program.
The NaNo Ambassadors were recognized in the Brought to You By page on the NaNo website in 2015 for helping tell the world about NaNoWriMo.
