What on earth is going on at NaNoWriMo HQ? Here's a high level summary compiled by an anonymous community member.
Heather Dudley
Heather Dudley (former username Dragonchilde) was the staff Forums Moderator for the NaNoWriMo and Script Frenzy forums, as well as the Script Frenzy Young Writers Program forums. She was chosen as the successor to Cybele May in 2007, and joined the team in an official capacity in January 2008. She also moderated the NaNoWriMo Young Writers Program forums until 2011 when Cylithria Dubois joined the OLL staff to moderate the YWP NaNo forums. In 2012 Heather became a full NaNoWriMo employee as the Lead Forums Moderator [1] until she stepped down in August 2021.
She first joined the event in 2002. She volunteered as a local Municipal Liaison for the Macon, GA region in 2003, and began moderating the Rules and Regulations forum as a volunteer in 2004, alongside Rolnikov. These duties expanded to include all three of the NaNoWriMo Etc forums, Rules, Regulations, and Other Minutiae, Site and Message Board Feedback and Suggestions, Tech Help & Site Bug Reports in the following years before joining the NaNoWriMo staff.
