Handwriters

Handwriters are a small but robust minority of Wrimos. Generally they write in notebooks, with a variety of writing implements from pencils to gel pens, a subject of discussions on the NaNo Technology forums. Some handwriters use the notebook to get their words down, often in places where a computer would not be practical for writing, then type them into a word processor later. Others are content to produce an entire handwritten novel without needing to get their word count validated, or use the Luddite clause. As such, some people refer to the handwriters as "Luddites".
