YA, Middle Grade, & New Adult is a type of fiction aimed at young children (children's lit), pre-teens (middle grade), teenagers (young adult), and young adults (new adult). It can fall under any genre, e.g, young adult romance, middle grade fantasy.

The forum was created as Young Adult in 2003 as one of the original genre forums. It was later renamed Young Adult & Children's Fiction before gaining its current name in 2019.
