Want to help edit Wikiwrimo? It's easy. Click the Create Account button to get started.
Have any questions? Look through the FAQ and help area first. If you can't find the answer, ask it here, and another Wikiwrimo will get back to you. Note: you can also ask on someone's userpage, but this method gives your question the widest exposure, which is good for the questions that more than one person can answer. Happy Wikiwrimo-ing!
How do I ask a question here?
Start a new section by starting a new line and surrounding your question with two equal signs == like this ==. Don't forget to sign your name by using four tildes like so: ~~~~. Sushimustwrite 20:23, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
Are you actively looking for more editors/contributors?
I know you posted a link to Wikiwrimo.org in the self-promotion forum on the NaNo site, but since it's not a forum that is frequented by a lot of users at this time of year, perhaps we should consider asking the mods if we could post a link in a more prominent location? Just a thought. :-) Thanks for all your hard work putting this together! Lyrwriter 04:34, 23 July 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, I'm always open to new contributors! The OLL staff know this site exists and like it (and mentioned it on the Facebook page after I emailed them and told them what I was up to!). This is an unofficial site, so I'm trying not to push them too hard. I'll definitely be promoting more hardcore come September and October as NaNo approaches. Feel free to spread the word! :) Sushimustwrite 18:07, 23 July 2010 (UTC)
I hope that makes sense as a question! You know in the articles when they have names of things in blue and stuff? How do I make those hyperlinks come up?Delorfinde 19:43, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
- It makes perfect sense! Surround the article in question with []. So Mr. Ian Woon becomes [[Mr. Ian Woon]]. You can also make the word say something else, for example: Young Writers Program could become [[Young Writers Program|YWP]]. You can also do this for articles that don't exist yet but should. This will make the article show up in the wanted pages area, and someone can look through that area and make the article or just click the red link and create the page. The links page gives all of this in a nice table. -Sushimustwrite 20:13, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
