Week Four is the period of the challenge starting on day 22 and ending on day 28. It is generally the time when wrimos realize that they cannot waste time like they did in week 2 and/or week 3 and make great efforts to get rid of their word count debt. It is often viewed as the best week of the challenge, and has a very high likelihood of 3k, 4k, and 5k days as wrimos from all walks of life try to find a way to win. However, in the U.S. during NaNoWriMo only, it still often provides some help and conviction, but can also be harmful due to the fact that American Thanksgiving always falls during week 4 of NaNoWriMo, a major distraction for wrimos across the U.S. .
On Day 25, the validator opens, and users may submit their novels. If a novel is long enough, the user is declared a NaNoWriMo Winner.
If it is February in a Non-Leap Year, week four is the last week of the challenge. If not, the challenge will conclude with Week 5.
