Sarah Mackey is the Office of Letters and Light's Special Projects Manager and OLL's Canadian representative. She has participated in and won NaNoWriMo since 2002 and has served as a Municipal Liaison for the Edmonton, Alberta region since 2003. In 2008 she attended the Night of Writing Dangerously in San Francisco and talked to Chris Baty about working on some NaNoWriMo projects[1]. The next year Sarah joined the NaNoWriMo staff and worked on the Come Write In library outreach program and the Night of Writing Dangerously.
Sarah also completed an internship in May and June of 2009 as a practicum for a public relations diploma. During her internship she worked on NaNoWriMo outreach and public relations. She also gave Wrimos and Screnziers a behind-the-scenes look of what goes on in the OLL office via OLL's various Twitter and Facebook accounts and a video tour of the new office[2][3].
Sarah enjoys knitting, napping, and the lesser-appreciated punctuation marks. She also shares a love of Disney music with Lindsey Grant[4].
