In 2018 the Region decided to have their official mascot be the NaNoByte, a homage to the region's involvement in the tech industry.
Regional Facts
2010 the South Bay region collected the encouraged 3000 books for the Great NaNoWriMo Book Drive[1].
In 2012 the region won the Donation Derby, achieving the highest increase in average donation for League 1 regions.
