Welcome to Wikiwrimo, the unofficial wiki for Wrimos and Screnziers, by Wrimos and Screnziers. Not everything is in perfect shape, but go ahead and request an account and contribute. After your account is confirmed (it should take less than a day), take a look around and keep reading to see how you can help. Happy editing!
How you can help
- Request an account.
- After your account is approved, log in and start editing! Here are some places to start if you're lost.
- We're trying to make a complete list of timed artistic challenges, complete with articles for the well-known ones. There are a lot of red links here, so start creating and listing! This isn't limited to writing challenges or monthlong challenges, so feel free to add. We're also creating a list of regional websites, so add your region's website if one exists.
- The main National Novel Writing Month, Script Frenzy, and The Office of Letters and Light article are still unfinished. Help polish them up.
- Check out the stubs. These articles are likely unfinished and definitely need your help.
- The new pages section shows the newest created pages. A lot of these articles may be unfinished.
- Here's a list of article ideas. If you get stuck, take a look at some of those.
- Take a look at the User's Guide and FAQ for information on using Wikiwrimo.
- Edit your userpage to tell Wikiwrimo about yourself.
- Spread the word about Wikiwrimo to more Wrimos and Screnzy participants.
- Let us know if things break (wikiwrimo gmail com. I trust that you know the rest.)
Getting started
- MediaWiki FAQ This is a more complete version of Mediawiki's FAQ.
- How to cite pages I'll add a page for this later, but for now, this is how you add footnotes to articles.
