Like Jail refers to running out of likes on the NaNoWriMo forums. It can also refer to the forum thread for Wrimos in Like Jail.
Wrimo Writerfangirl coined the term Like Jail and started a thread declaring this with the subject "I'm in Like Jail!" Other Wrimos in Like Jail chimed in, and the thread evolved from there, eventually gaining a second iteration in May 2020.
There is a map of Like Jail drawn by Wrimo Tinyfist, displayed on the top of the second thread.
You can earn the Jailbird forum badge by posting in the current Like Jail thread and tagging a moderator.
