Heather Dudley (username Dragonchilde) is the staff Forums Moderator for all four event sites. She was chosen as the successor to Cybele May in 2007, and joined the team in an official capacity in January 2008.

She first joined the event in 2002. She volunteered as a local Municipal Liaison for her region (Macon, GAin 2003, and began moderating the Rules and Regulations forum as a volunteer in 2004, alongside Rolnikov. These duties expanded to include all three of the NaNoWriMo Etc forums, Rules, Regulations, and Other Minutiae, Site and Message Board Feedback and Suggestions, Tech Help & Site Bug Reports in the following years.
