Teens (formerly Age Group: Teens until September 2019) is a NaNoWriMo forum where teenage Wrimos can connect with each other. While some teenagers participate in the Young Writers Program thanks to the flexible goal option, other teens participate in the main program with the knowledge that they'll have to write the full 50,000 words in order to win. Note that teens from ages 13 to 17 are welcome to participate in both the YWP and adult programs, and some do.

The precursor to the Teens forum is the Young Novelists forum, which was founded in 2005.

The Teens forum is one of the most active forums on the NaNo site. It is a subforum of Finding Your Crew and is an All-Ages forum. Teens attending university or college may also be interested in the NaNo University forum to connect with fellow students.

As of June 2020, the Teens forum is an affinity group. Teen Wrimos must request to join the group, and the forum is visible only to teen Wrimos in the group, plus admins and moderators.
