I am Delorfinde. I am 14 years old and I live in England. My hair is brown.

I am an Irish dancer, writer, musician and general loony. I spend most of my time either writing, dancing, writing about dancing or playing music, though I haven't yet managed to dance about writing. It could be interesting -- I should try that out some time.

My username on the NaNoWriMo website is, surprise surprise, 'delorfinde'. Under the same username, you can find me on Protagonize, Wordpress, Elfwood ... heck, even Runescape, which just goes to show how long I've been using it!

NaNoWriMo and Me

I joined National Novel Writing Month on November 7th 2009, having heard of it but never been told what it was. Following a link on Protagonize, I found the site and signed up immediately.

This, of course, meant that I was a week and approximately 10 000 words behind target, so I tried to catch up. However, I had no plot, no characters -- not even a genre. I finished my novel 15 days later. It had several characters, a clear genre and even some semblence of a plot. Well, I never!

This is my second year of NaNo and although I am taking six hours of dance, learning three instruments and trying to cope with school / homework / music / dance / other stuff that plagues teenagers, I am determined to win again.

Script Frenzy and Me

In April I took part in Script Frenzy with 'Raina' as my writing partner; we also started late but managed to finish, even though neither of us had ever written a script before.
